What Is PRP for Skin?
Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is a specialized treatment used for addressing collagen loss, melasma, sun damage, and other similar skin concerns. The PRP for skin treatment uses concentrated plasma extracted from your own blood to stimulate long-term collagen production. After application, PRP can go a long way in promoting skin rejuvenation, leading to a more youthful and radiant appearance.
Our PRP Treatment Menu
PRP Injections
45 mins
From $650
PRP injections restore facial beauty and revive youth by adding renewed color and texture to your face, as well as improving age-related changes like fine lines and laxity.
PRP Microneedling Facial
60 mins
From $700
In this advanced procedure, the microneedling is done by applying PRP topically (added pre & post needling). When applied this way, both the microneedling and the PRP will stimulate new collagen and blood flow to create a smoother, healthier texture and color.
PRP Hair Growth
60 mins
From $1000
The PRP is injected into the scalp which triggers natural hair growth by increasing blood supply to the hair follicle and increasing the thickness of the hair shaft.
PRP with PDO Threading
60 mins
From $800
This advanced combination treatment takes antiaging to the next level! PDO threads stimulate collagen, while PRP consists of growth factors; when combined the dual action equals more effective stimulation of collagen.
How Does PRP Work?
The procedure works via the extraction of plasma from your blood using a centrifuge. After this separation process is complete, the plasma is applied to trouble areas on your face. This naturally promotes rapid skin healing and rejuvenation.
Typically, the injection process is preceded by microneedling, which facilitates the plasma application. In addition, when the skin is damaged through microneedling, it is also primed for effective topical gel, cream, and serum absorption.
What Does PRP for Skin Treat?
PRP has been shown to improve signs of aging and skin damage incurred over time. Primarily, platelet-rich plasma reduces the appearance of age spots, sun spots, and melasma, promoting a more even complexion. Additionally, this treatment can also aid in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles on the face.
What to Expect During Treatment
At the beginning of the procedure, we will extract some blood and separate the plasma for application. Once the plasma is separated, we will apply it to your treatment area. The device used for this procedure features a needle-tip containing precision micro-needles. Due to the small size of the needles, the procedure will feel like light sandpaper moving across your skin.
Some areas may be more sensitive than others, but we can apply a hydrating gel to your skin to minimize discomfort. The total session time will take about 30-60 minutes.
Results of PRP for Skin Care
Improvements in your skin texture can be seen immediately after the treatment.* However, roughly 3-6 treatments every 4-6 weeks are best for achieving optimal results.* After completing the full line of sessions, skin rejuvenation will be visible after a six month period.* Healing after the procedure depends on individual skin types and concerns. Some redness can be experienced after treatment but will subside in 2-4 days on average.
