Meet Our Team
Alicia Gatti, NP
Founder, CEO
Alicia Gatti is a Board-Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and the CEO & Founder of modernDOSE. She graduated from Adelphi University with a BS in Nursing and earned her MS in Adult Health Nursing with Honors (Sigma Theta Tau) from SUNY Stony Brook.
She started her career as a Registered Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital’s Ventilator Medical-Surgical Unit, spending a decade building deep clinical knowledge before advancing to Assistant Nurse Manager. From there, she moved into primary care as a Nurse Practitioner, training alongside medical spas and plastic surgeons across Long Island’s North and South Shore — and it was during this time that her aesthetics journey began.
After years of watching clients get surface-level treatments while the real issues — hormonal shifts, low energy, weight changes — went unaddressed, Alicia founded modernDOSE in 2020 to close that gap: a Nurse Practitioner-led practice where aesthetics and wellness are one conversation, not two separate appointments. She holds formal certifications from AMET, ESI, and Empire Medical Training, with advanced training in injectables, PRP, PDO threads, microneedling, laser systems, and bioidentical hormone therapy, and is a Certified BioTe Provider. But her story with modernDOSE isn’t just professional — it’s personal. Alicia has lived the same shifts many of our clients come to us for, which is exactly why she built a plan-based, no-pressure approach instead of a quick fix.
Her journey into nursing was inspired by her grandmother’s own nursing career — a legacy that continues to fuel her dedication to compassionate, client-centered care. Outside of modernDOSE, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her two dogs, Tito and Gigi.
Dominique Block, MS, ANP
Nurse Practitioner, Aesthetic Injector, & Certified BioTe Provider
Dominique Block is a skilled Nurse Practitioner at modernDOSE, specializing in advanced aesthetic injectables. With expertise in Botox, dermal fillers, and regenerative injectables, she is known for her ability to deliver natural, refreshed results that enhance each client’s unique beauty. In addition to her aesthetic focus, Dominique is experienced in GLP-1 weight management, peptide therapies, and hormone health—giving her a comprehensive approach to beauty and wellness from the inside out. She takes pride in creating personalized treatment plans that help clients feel confident, radiant, and empowered.
Dominique holds a Master’s Degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, is a certified Biote Provider, and a certified injector. Committed to ongoing education and training, she stays ahead of the latest advancements to provide her clients with the safest, most effective treatments.
When she’s not with clients, Dominique enjoys decorating her home, cooking and baking, spending time with family and friends and traveling—whether it’s to her favorite countryside in upstate New York or tropical Caribbean destinations.
Rebekah Mennona, LE
Licensed Esthetician & Skin Specialist
Rebekah Mennona is a Licensed Esthetician with over four years of experience in the beauty and skincare industry. A proud graduate of the New York Institute of Beauty, she holds advanced certifications in chemical peels, microneedling, and laser treatments, as well as brow lamination, lash lifts, and tints. Known for her calming presence and detail-oriented approach, she creates an inviting space where clients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
Rebekah’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that true skincare should combine relaxation with results. She thoughtfully tailors each treatment to her clients’ unique goals—whether that’s addressing specific skin concerns, enhancing natural features, or simply creating a moment of self-care. Her personalized approach helps clients leave every appointment feeling refreshed, radiant, and empowered in their own skin.
When she isn’t in the treatment room, Rebekah enjoys painting and expressing her creativity through art. A true animal lover, she finds joy in spending time with her pets—two cats and a dog—who keep her life full of love and laughter.
Krystal Strafford, LE
Licensed Esthetician & Skin Specialist
Krystal Strafford is a Licensed Esthetician with over six years of experience helping clients achieve their long-term skincare goals. A graduate of Nassau Community College and the Long Island Skin and Nail Institute, she specializes in chemical peels, laser and skin rejuvenation, microneedling, and the Salt Facial.
Krystal’s approach is rooted in education as much as results. She takes the time to understand each client’s skin and goals, building treatment plans that help clients regain confidence in their skin while learning the self-care habits that keep results lasting long after they leave the treatment room.
When she isn’t in the treatment room, Krystal enjoys traveling, exploring new food, and spending time with her family and her dog, Philomena.
Kylie Peckholdt
Front Desk & Concierge
Kylie Peckholdt is a welcoming and detail-oriented receptionist at modernDOSE Aesthetics & Wellness, where she plays an essential role in creating a seamless, elevated client experience from the moment you walk through the door. With a friendly demeanor and strong organizational skills, Kylie helps keep the front office running smoothly while ensuring every guest feels seen, supported, and cared for.
Kylie believes that exceptional care starts with connection. She takes pride in being a warm first point of contact—answering questions, coordinating appointments, and helping clients feel comfortable and confident as they begin their aesthetic and wellness journey. Her positive energy and attentive approach help set the tone for the modernDOSE experience.
When she isn’t at the front desk, Kylie enjoys spending time with friends, baking sweet treats, and unwinding while watching the sunset. She values balance, meaningful moments, and bringing a little extra warmth into everything she does—both inside and outside the spa.
